February 2015 has seen the commencement of a major extraction and enclosure upgrade project at Biorenewables Development Centre at York Science Park. The centre is uses cutting-edge science and technology to bridge the gap between academia and industry to assist companies both in the development and scale up of new greener processes and products. Working in conjunction with the client and Bouygues Ltd the project follows on from last year’s effective solutions implemented by Opti-Pharma to provide walk-in Enclosures built to house Reaction vessels and LEV coverage to the clients Spinning Cone system. The latest project is due for completion by April 2015 and will incorporate a back wash scrubbing system, multiple enclosures and advanced controls.
